The 8440-1894 is a digital controller for open-switch ATS(Automatic change-over switch) control in emergency backup applications for single-engine motors. When the DTSC-50 detects a utility failure, it commands the generator to start and transfers the load to the emergency power supply. When mains power is restored, the DTSC-50 performs an open transition retransmission, allowing the engine to cool down before stopping. It can be used in 1Ph2W, 1Ph3W, 3Ph3W and 3Ph4W systems. The DTSC-50 displays voltage and frequency values for each stage, as well as engine hours, maintenance hours, and number of transfers. Activity alerts are issued via a seven-segment LED display. Separate led displays circuit breaker status and power availability. The sealed soft key enables the user to start the generator and manually operate the transfer switch.
