3300 XL 8mm proximity sensor system includes:
A 3300 XL 8mm probe,
A 3300 XL extension cord 1, and
A 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor2.
The system provides an output voltage that is proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface, allowing both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values to be measured. The main applications of the system are vibration and positioning

The 3300 XL 8mm system offers state-of-the-art performance in our vortex proximity sensor system. The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5 m system is also fully compliant with the American Petroleum Institute (API)670 standard in terms of mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8mm proximity sensor systems offer this level of performance and support full interchangeability of the probe, extension cable and Proximitor sensors without the need to match or benchtop calibrate individual components. Each 3300 XL 8mm sensor system component is backward compatible and interchangeable with other non-XL 3300 series 5mm and 8mm sensor systems
