1769-if4i compactlogix 4ai Current/voltage isolation module
The module can be connected to a controller or an adjacent I/O module before or after installation.
The following procedure shows you how to assemble a Compact I/O system
1. Disconnect the power supply.
2. Ensure that the handle of the bus bar of the module to be installed is not locked
(completely right) position.
3. Use upper and lower tongue grooves (1) to fix
The modules are connected together (or to a controller).
4. Move the module along the tongue slot until it reaches the bus
Connectors (2) are arranged with each other.
5. Push the busbar back to clear the positioning card (3)
Finger or small screwdriver.
6. To enable communication between the controller and the module, move the controller
The bus lever is completely to the left (4) until it clicks. Make sure it’s locked.
