The 1788-EN2PAR Ethernet /IP Link device is a Bulletin 1788 link device from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It can be used to connect Profibus PA devices to Ethernet /IP industrial networks. The 1788-EN2PAR Ethernet /IP Link device can connect Profibus PA devices directly to an Ethernet /IP network without the need for an intermediate Profibus DP or a distributed peripheral layer. This linked device should not be used with a power regulator or additional power supply. 1788-EN2PAR Ethernet /IP Link Devices connect to Ethernet via RJ45 connectors and use a hardware switch or BOOTP server to set their IP address

The 1788-EN2PAR connection device is an open device that complies with the T4 North American and IEC temperature specifications.
