Tricon is a highly fault-tolerant programmable and process control technology.
Its characteristics are as follows:
A. Provide a three-mode multi-remainder structure (TMR) with three identical subcircuits, each performing an independent degree of control. There is also a dedicated hardware/software architecture for “voting” on inputs and outputs
Able to endure harsh industrial environments. C. It can be installed in the field, and module levels can be installed and repaired online in the field without interfering with the field wiring. D. Supports up to 118 I/0 modules (analog and digital) and optional communication modules.
