The IS215VCMIH2C is designed as a VME communication card in the GE Mark VI turbine control system and is essential for the proper functioning of the entire system. VCMI The VME communication board supports the communication between the I/O card and other I/O cards installed on the VME backplane, I/O cards installed on the expansion rack, I/O backup protection module, triple-redundancy control module, main processor module, or main processor module.
The IS215VCMIH2C card is also widely known as the VME bus master controller. The PCB provides an interface for communication between the I/O board and the controller. It also acts as a communication interface for the System Control Network (IONet).
