IS220PDOAH1A
The IS220PDOAH1A model features discrete output packets designed with interfaces for up to two I/O Ethernet networks and other discrete output terminal boards in mind. A special feature of this model is that it can control up to twelve relays and receive feedback signals from other terminal boards. Typical relays that can be used for this model are solid-state relays and electromagnetic relays. Solid-state relays are used with TRLYH1B, C, D, and F terminals, while electromagnetic relays are used with TRLYH1E boards. The package will receive input via a dual RJ45 Ethernet connector as well as a three-pin power input.
There is a processor board embedded in the IS220PDOAH1A package. There are multiple processors, including but not limited to status indicating leds, local power supplies for monitoring and sequencing, high-speed processors including flash and RAM memory, and even more. All information about the processor can be found in the GEH-721G Mark VIe Control System Guide, information can be found on pages 223 to 230.
The IS220PDOAH1A package has an output enable function. During the application of power to the package, all output is disabled until some internal self-testing is completed. The enable function can provide a path independent of the command, which will ensure that the relay remains disconnected during packet initialization and power-on.
