The IS220PPROH1A is a turbine-specific I/O module. It is designed to provide a direct interface for specific turbine field equipment. This setup eliminates or reduces many of the instruments previously required to connect field equipment, and also improves operational reliability and reduces long-term maintenance. The IS220PPROH1A typically works with the TREAH_A terminal board and is used in pneumatically derived turbine emergency trip applications.
The component can be connected to a barrier or box terminal block. The IS220PPROH1A has field wiring limitations for voltage sensing, limiting 18 AWG wiring to 1000 feet of cable length. It is worth noting that IS220PPROH1A cannot be automatically reconfigured when BPPB P-Pack is exchanged with BPPC P-Pack.
The front panel of the IS220PPROH1A is marked with the component id number and several LED indicators. They are placed in pairs on the front panel.
