The IS220UCSAH1A is a processor/controller created by General Electric for the Mark VI system. The Mark VI platform, designed to manage gas or steam turbines, was released by GE as part of the Speedtronic line. It features an HMI(Human Machine Interface) with software designed to run heavy duty turbines, such as a simple graphical interface.
The IS220UCSAH1A is built as a single boxed assembly with a front panel allowing communication connections, two screws mounted on the back edge, and three-sided grille openings allowing air flow. The controller is designed for installation in the cabinet. Up to three components can be installed next to each other for a compact arrangement that easily serves triple redundant systems.
The IS220UCSAH1A works on the QNX operating system. It has a Freescale 8349,667mhz processor. The board uses a 12-watt power supply rated at 18-36v DC. The board can be used at temperatures ranging from 0 to 65 degrees Celsius and does not require a fan for cooling, even at the highest rated temperature. The board can be used for NFPA Class 1, Div.2 applications.
The IS220UCSAH1A front panel has 6 female sockets, 1 USB port, and multiple LED indicators.
