The PFEA113-20 is a cost-effective, compact and user-friendly tension electronics that provides: accurate and reliable fast simulation and signals from two load cells for control and/or monitoring. The display can display sum, individual A&B and difference signals. The small size and DIN rail mounting make the device very easy to integrate into many types of electrical cabinets. The Pressductor sensor (a sensor within a load cell) is a simple and elegant design. Basically, the PFEA113-20 combines two vertical copper wire windings around the steel core to provide the measurement signal. An electromagnetic field is a winding created by continuously sending alternating current to one of the coils. Since the winding is at right angles to the magnetic field, when the load cell is unstressed, there is no magnetic coupling between them. However, when the sensor is subjected to force, the PFEA113-20 magnetic field pattern changes. Part of the magnetic field is coupled to the second winding and induces an AC voltage that reflects the tension exerted by the web on the measuring series. The relatively strong sensor signal of the voltage-A converts the electronics into the system output by the tension conversion of the load cell system.
