PXI系統(tǒng)組件

PXI system components
The PXI system consists of three main hardware components: chassis, controller, and module. The system software is reconfigurable and customizable.
The chassis is the “skeleton” of the PXI system, equivalent to the mechanical shell and motherboard of a desktop computer. The chassis provides power, cooling, and communication buses for the system, and supports multiple instrument modules in the same chassis. The PXI uses commercial PC-based PCI and PCI Express bus technologies, while combining a rugged CompactPCI modular package with important timing and synchronization capabilities. Depending on the size specifications, the chassis can be equipped with 4 to 18 slots, whether the user needs portable, desktop, rack or embedded system, PXI chassis can meet one by one.
PXI controller is divided into two types: integrated controller and remote controller. The integrated controller contains the instruments needed to run the PXI system without connecting to an external PC; The remote controller allows you to control the PXI system from a desktop, laptop, or server computer.
