The Trusted @ Multi-Power Field Terminal Assembly (IFTA) T8842 is primarily designed to serve as the primary interface to field equipment for fire and gas detection and suppression and the trusted dual module TMR) area interface module T8448. It also acts as an interface to the trusted TMR valve monitoring module T8449, whose teaching word output to the solenoid valve is used alternately with the valve position analog input. Each channel of the VFTA is configurable to enable access to multiple field devices. These include devices that generate analog and digital input signals, as well as output devices that require up to 28 Vd for digital signals.
