The 1756-L72 is a ControlLogix family of programmable Automation controllers (PACs) manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation.
The 1756-L72 mainly has 4 MB of user memory and 0.98 MB of I/O memory. It also comes with a 1 GB SD card, 1784-SD1, for storing data and troubleshooting information. The controller also comes with three capacitive energy storage modules to protect the controller.
The 1756-L72 features standard and secure communication options over Ethernet /IP networks, as well as the ability to support up to 256 Ethernet /IP and 128 TCP network connections per network module.
