The 1769-IF8 is a Rockwell AB programming module.
The number of relay contacts is limited, so the flexibility and scalability of the electrical control system is greatly limited. The system has fewer connections, small size and small power consumption, and the PLC “soft relay” is essentially the state of the memory unit, so the “soft relay” contacts are unlimited, and the PLC system has good flexibility and scalability.
Working mode: The PLC user program is executed in a certain order, so the soft relays are in a periodic cycle of scanning on, subject to the same conditions of each relay action order determined by the program scanning order, this working mode is called serial working mode.

CompactLogix controller is compatible with MicroLogix 1500 controller.
The module has eight (8) embedded input channels, supporting differential and single-ended wiring, configurable signals of 0-20mA and 4-20mA as well as +10VDC, 1-5VDC, 0-5VDC, 0-10VDC, analog signals received by the input channel are converted separately using the Delta-Sigma conversion method. The converted signal is stored in the processor’s memory, unipolar occupies 16 bits, bipolar occupies 15 bits, and the data processed can be configured as engineering units, PID proportions, percentage ranges, and raw data.
