125800-01 is a Keyphasor I/O module developed by Bently Nevada. It is part of the 3500/25 Enhanced Keyphasor module. The monitor module in the 3500 frame receives the Keyphasor signal from the half-height, which is a two-channel module called the Keyphasor module. When the key phaser mark on the shaft is aligned with the key phaser sensor, the module detects the alignment using a magnetic pickup or proximity probe and converts the input signal into a digital key phaser signal. The 3500 mechanical protection system accepts up to four Keyphasor signals for a conventional setup and up to eight for a paired configuration.
The 3500/25 Enhanced Keyphasor module is a semi-high dual channel module used to provide the key phaser signal to the monitor module 3500. The module receives the input signal from the short-range probe magnetic pick up and converts the signal into a digital keying signal that indicates when the key phase marker on the axis is with the key phase sensor. The 3500 mechanical protection system can accept up to four key-phase signals in normal configurations and up to eight key-phase signals in paired configurations. Note: The keying signal is a pulse once per turn or many times per turn from the rotating shaft or gear, used to provide accurate time measurement. This allows the 3500 monitoring module and external diagnostic equipment to measure shaft speed and vector parameters such as 1X amplitude and phase. The Enhanced Keyphasor module is an improved 3500 system module. It provides extended Keyphasor signal processing capabilities when designed to maintain full backward compatibility with existing Keyphasor modules formed, installed, and run with legacy systems. The Keyphasor module PWA 125792-01 was completely replaced by the updated 149369-01 module.

The critical phasor signal generated by the shaft or gear each turn or several turns can be used to accurately identify the timing. As a result, the 3500 monitoring module and external diagnostic tools can measure shaft speed and vector characteristics such as 1X amplitude and phase.
The Enhanced Keyphasor module is the Enhanced 3500 system module. It improves the previously designed Keyphasor signal processing capabilities while maintaining full backward compatibility with current Keyphasor modules in terms of shape, fit, and functionality for use with older systems.
The Keyphasor module PWA 125792-01 has been completely replaced by the newer module 149369-01. When three-mode redundancy (TMR) applications require system Keyphasor inputs, the 3500 system should use two Keyphasor modules. In this design, these modules transmit both primary and secondary Keyphasor signals to other modules in the rack.
