The AO845 analog output module is suitable for single or several applications with 8 unipolar analog output channels. Module diagnostics include:
1. If the process power supply to the output circuit is too low, or the output current is less than the output setpoint and the output setpoint >1mA (open circuit), an external channel error is reported (only reported on the active channel).
2. If the output circuit does not give the correct current value, the internal channel error is reported. In a few pairs, the module bus master will command the module to enter an error state.
3. If an output transistor error, short circuit, checksum error, internal power error, status link error, watchdog, or faulty OSP behavior occurs, a module error is reported.
