The MVI56E-MNETC supports up to 30 Modbus clients and 20 Modbus servers. The module guarantees higher responsiveness in multi-server architectures, minimizes impact on other servers in the event of a server suddenly going offline, and supports human machine interface (HMI), monitoring, and data acquisition by providing access to integrated data.
The MVI56E-MNETC module is specifically compatible with the Controllogix platform. This module occupies a single slot in the Controllogix chassis and can consume 800VDC power with 24mA of 5mA and 3VDC power available. Version 16 or higher is required if used with Additional Instructions (AOC), and version 15 or higher is required when used with the provided example ladder diagram program. In addition, it requires a Prosoft configuration generator (PCB) to input the configuration of the module.
